Rob Zombie

This guy is one of the metal's father ( even if his music is more alternative than something else ) . Born in 1965, he is musician, film director and writter. His next movie is "The Lord Of Salem" ( he made a song about it! ). He had a band called White Zombie but since 1998 he started a solo carrier.

Hatebreed

Created in 1994 and from Connecticut and this band play pure Hardcore. Hardcore is a kind of metal where the lyrics mean really violent things like the war, fights, sorrow and hate ( like the band's name say ). They come often in Belgium and that's why I could hear about it. The audience during a concert is pretty crazy, the people do mad things like moshpit or Wall Of Death.
The song "Defeatist"

In Flames

Another Swedish group who plays melodic death metal in their first albums and are turning to alternative. I really like this band they are surely in my top 5. They made 8 albums and the last one "A Sens Of A Purpose" have been made in 2007. I was scared that they separated to each other but as I said in the Pendulum's article In Flames made a song in 2010 with them. Whatever I heard about a new album called "Sounds Of A Playground Fading" who will be released in 2011, then this year.
The song "The Quiet Place" from "A Sens Of A Purpose"

Pendulum

Drum'n'bass band from Australia who made their first album "Hold Your Colour" in 2005, their second one "In Silico" in 2008 and their third one "Immersion". They mixed rock, heavy-metal with techno and dubstep. If you pay attention you can see that the singer play a kind of guitar and synthesizer combined.
Their song "Watercolour" from the album "Immersion"

Other song from "Immersion", "Self VS Self" featuring In Flames, a metal group.

Arch Enemy

Created in 1996 this band from Sweden play melodic death metal. They had a guy like singer before he has been replaced by Angela Gossow, a German singer who is for me one of the best female metal singer.
This song "We will rise" is my favorite.

System Of A Down

Created in 1994 from Los Angeles this group is in my top 5 of favourite band. They played Nu-metal and in the two last albums in 2007 they turned to alternative. The year after they broke the group. The singer, Serj Tankian, started solo perfomance, the guitarist and the drummer, Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan started a group together called Scares On Broadway and finally the bassist started to be DJ and called himself DJ Tactics. They recreated the group 2 months ago for a special European tour.
Their best song "Sugar" from the album "System Of A Down"

Rammstein

Group from Germany and created in 1994. I've got all their albums, it's one of my favourite group. They make industrial-metal who is typical European Metal. Their first album "Herzeleid" ( would mean heart pain in German ) have been first not allowed in Europe because the picture on the album make you thinking they were nazi ( on the picture they were one next to a other and some stupid journalist thought they wanted to symbolize the arian race. Contrarely to some other groups they just changed their picture but they started to provocate and they keep doing it. In their last album " Liebe ist fur alle da" ( "the love is stronger than everything", ironic sentence about sex and addictions ) especially in the song " Rammlied " they sing a nazi's slogan in their own way.
First picture of the Herzeleid album and not allowed in Europe
